On the morning of February 17th, at Nghi Son Economic Zone, Duc Giang Chemicals Group sucessfully organized “Groundbreaking for project No.1, Duc Giang Nghi Son chemical complex” with a total investment of 2400 billion Dong.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, President of the Provincial People’s committee; Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Vice Presidents of the Provincial People’s Council and People’s committee; leaders of Departments and localities in the province; representatives of investors, partners, contractors, and a large number of local residents in the project area.
Project No.1 – Duc Giang Nghi Son Chemical Complex, invested by Duc Giang Nghi Son Chemical Single-Member Limited Liability Company, a subsidiary of Duc Giang Chemicals Group, is constructed on a 30 – hectare site at Dong Vang Industrial zone, Nghi Son Economic Zone. The Complex is designed with a production capacity of 150.000 tons/year and a total investment of 2.400 billion Dong. The project has various factories including: NaOH production plant, a PAC water treatment chemical production plant, a bleaching powder (Ca) production plant, Chloramine B production plant… The factories are expected to be completed and put into operation in Q1/2026.
Delivering a speech at the Groundbreaking Ceremony, Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice President of the Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized the significance and importance of the project for the development of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Nghi Son Town in particular, as well as Thanh Hoa Province as a whole. He also acknowledged and commenced the efforts and dedication of various departments and levels in the province, as well as the investors in preparing and implementing the project. Additionally, he expressed sincere attitude for the support and assistance from central ministries, agencies, and the agreement and support of local residents for the project.
