On the afternoon of June 8, leaders of Dak Nong province had a meeting with Duc Giang Chemical Group Joint Stock Company to grasp the project investment survey situation in the province. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Luu Van Trung; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the determination of leaders of Duc Giang Chemical Group Joint Stock Company in researching and surveying. as well as actively coordinate with the province to invest in industrial production of bauxite, metallurgy, especially bauxite deep processing and fertilizer production in the province.
At the meeting, on behalf of Duc Giang Chemical Group Joint Stock Company, Mr. Dao Huu Huyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, briefly reported some results of research and survey of 02 projects in Dak Nong province. . Specifically, the Duc Giang-Dak Nong Fertilizer Factory Project, producing NPK fertilizer, with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year, producing Potassium Sun Phat fertilizer, with a capacity of 4,800 tons/year, with a total investment of 300 billions dong. The project is expected to be built within 12 months.
For the Aluminum-Dak Nong Complex Project, the Provincial People’s Committee has agreed to allow the Company to research and survey the location of bauxite mines in Tuy Duc and Dak Song districts; location to build alumina processing factories in Thuan Ha and Thuan Hanh communes (Dak Song). For this project, it is expected that the mining scale will be about 14.4 million tons of bauxite ore per year, and the construction of 03 ore sorting factories with a capacity of 5.8 million tons of refined ore per year. The total investment of both phases is 57,000 billion VND. It is expected that when completed and put into operation, the project will contribute more than VND 4,800 billion in annual revenue to the budget. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Luu Van Trung emphasized that Dak Nong province is determined to accompany investors in implementing projects. For preferential policies, according to the regulations of the Central Government, the province will create conditions according to its ability.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi also emphasized that, during the implementation of the project, the Company must ensure environmental factors, social security and ensure harmony between interests of people and businesses. Regarding investment procedures and policies, the province will receive and submit to central ministries and branches for submission to the Government for additional land use planning and investment policies as a basis for project implementation.
