On October 12, in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, within the framework of the Lam Dong Province Investment Promotion Conference 2025, Duc Giang Chemicals Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province to study, survey, and propose the development of the Bauxite – Alumina – Aluminum Complex Project.
According to the MoU, Duc Giang Chemicals Group commits to investing in a large-scale Bauxite – Alumina – Aluminum Complex, aiming to establish a closed production chain from bauxite ore to aluminum ingots, with the following key parameters:
• Designed capacity: 2 million tons of alumina per year and 500,000 tons of aluminum per year.
• Estimated annual revenue: approximately VND 37,000 billion.
• Total investment capital: about VND 58,000 billion.
• Implementation period: 2025 – 2030.
The complex will consist of two component projects:

The Bauxite – Alumina Complex Project located in Tuy Duc Commune, Lam Dong Province, sourcing raw materials from Mine Cluster No. 4 (formerly Dak Nong, under Planning No. 866).

The Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project located along the coastal area of the former Binh Thuan Province, leveraging advantages in power supply from thermal and renewable energy sources.
The People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province welcomed the investment initiative from Duc Giang Chemicals Group and committed to facilitating the project’s implementation in accordance with legal regulations, contributing to the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands region.
The signing of this MoU marks an important milestone in the strategic cooperation for the development of deep-processing industries, enhancing the value of Vietnam’s bauxite resources and bringing the national aluminum industry closer to the global value chain.
Mr. Dao Huu Huyen, Chairman of Duc Giang Chemicals Group, expressed his belief that this collaboration will open new opportunities for Duc Giang to master advanced deep-processing technologies, increase the value of national resources, and develop a modern, green, and sustainable aluminum industry.
