In the morning of September 17, 2017, Duc Giang Detergent and Chemical Joint Stock Company solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of Duc Giang Volleyball Team – Hanoi at Gia Lam District Stadium.
In order to promote the brand of Duc Giang Chemical in general and two civil product lines, namely Detergent & Fertilizer in particular, in July 2016 the company received & transferred the Hanoi Volleyball Club, renamed to Duc Giang Chemicals Volleyball Club – Hanoi. In October 2016, the club won the A-League and continued to play in the strong category of the 2017 National Championship. With the average age of the athletes from the age of 20, height: 1m78, is considered by experts to be one of the potential clubs that can make the top 4 in 2018. Especially, there are 2 good players in the team, the player Trinh Thi Huyen with the number 11 is an official member of the Vietnam National Team and the player Tran Thi Bich Thuy with the number 15 is a member of the young team nation.

Mr. Dao Huu Huyen – General Director of the Company and Chairman of Duc Giang Chemicals Volleyball Club – Hanoi expressed his joy at the initial success in the construction and investment of professional facilities for the club. At the same time, he emphasized that moving the club to Gia Lam District Stadium will be an important factor contributing to the development of physical training and sport movement in the district, so that the players in the club can best life care facilitates advanced technical expertise.
In the near future, Gia Lam District Stadium will also be the venue for major international competitions. The Chairman also hoped that in the coming time, the club would operate effectively, winning high achievements in the remaining competitions of the 2017 National Women’s Volleyball Championship.
